The Launch of our Etsy Shop…………….
We are so excited to announce the launch of our Etsy shop. It is officially open for business!!!
My husband and I have spent countless hours creating this small business from everything to designing a logo, designing and hand making all the jewelry, photoshoots, creating a website/blog and many other tasks. It was a lot of hard work but we are beyond proud to share it with all of you!
First, I have to give a huge thank you to my tech husband who worked day and night on this project. His background and knowledge of code, web design, Photoshop and everything else computer related was extremely helpful. He made sure the webpage, pictures, formatting, Etsy shop and all the technical details were professional looking and what I wanted, I do not know what I would do without him. Most of the time he would ask me questions and I would look at him as if he was speaking a foreign language. I appreciate his patience and walking my creative (non-technical) brain through the process. He is also a skilled woodworker and he spent countless hours cutting shapes and creating pieces. I am so lucky to have him, he is the BEST!!
He has also created a website for my daughter, who came to him a year ago and said she wanted to start blogging, I am so proud of both of them! You should check it out: http://leftyslens.com/ It is pretty impressive for a thirteen year old!
I also have to say thank you to my twin daughters for being jewelry models and helping with countless photo shoots. I can always count on them to give their honest opinions on what styles look best or what the latest trends are. They have been very supportive and helpful!
The goal of Red Shed Designs is to create unique jewelry pieces out of natural elements that will compliment any outfit. We mix two very natural elements together wood and concrete and we feel they look beautiful, the wood grain alongside the gray speckled concrete creates a very different look. We hand cut and sand each piece making the charm and then we design the rest of the piece. 
Each piece is one of kind and looks great by itself or layered with some of the more elaborate Red Shed Designs and they are sure to be a conversation piece. The Red Shed Designs pieces make great gifts because they are so creative and unique and with all the different styles to choose from there is something for everyone. Most of us have that “hard to buy for person” in our lives who seems to have everything, give them something they don’t have that they can treasure for years to come.
I have been wearing many of the pieces we created for the last several months and have gotten so many positive comments about them. A lot of you have been waiting very patiently to place your order so we want to thank you for all the support and the patience. We have taken our time because we want to ensure that everything is a reflection of our vision. I am always excited to support small businesses because I come from a small business family and I have supported many of my friends and family in their endeavors.
