January -From Thrifted Racks to Style Stacks

Welcome to the first edition of my Thrifted Racks to Style Stacks series! I am so excited to kick off 2025 with a piece that truly embodies everything I love about style: sustainability, affordability, and a little boho flair. My plan this year is to feature my favorite thrifted find each month this year and also one of my favorite accessory (which changes daily….LOL), each month the accessory will be on sale so you can add it to your collection if you would like. This month, I am featuring a stunning thrifted find and pairing it with an exclusive accessory from Red Shed Designs – and trust me, this duo is worth getting excited about!

Thrift Find of the Month: The Embroidered Gold Canvas Jacket

When I stumbled across this knee length embroidered canvas jacket on Ebay, I couldn’t believe my luck. The rich gold color, paired with its deep, detailed floral embroidery, feels so luxurious. And here’s the best part – I got it for just $50! That’s right, this pre-loved beauty cost a fraction of what it would retail for brand new, and yet it makes me feel like a million bucks every time I wear it.

I get so many compliments whenever I step out in this jacket, and no one knows it’s thrifted unless I tell them (and honestly, I love sharing the story behind my finds!) Fashion doesn’t have to cost a fortune, and shopping secondhand is not only budget-friendly but also sustainable.

  • STYLE TIP: Pair this jacket with dark denim, ankle boots, and a pop of turquoise jewelry for a perfect Western-boho vibe.

Accessory of the Month: Walnut Wood & Concrete Earrings

This month’s accessory is near and dear to my heart: designed by me and handmade out of dark walnut wood and concrete, these dangle earrings have a very western-boho vibe. These earrings crafted in the Red Shed Designs workshop, are the perfect complement to January’s thrifted jacket. The mix of natural materials and modern design makes them versatile, edgy and effortlessly cool.

This series is all about showing that style doesn’t have to break the bank. Whether it’s a thrifted gem or a handcrafted accessory, there are treasures to be found that let you express yourself without compromising your budget or values. Do you have a favorite thrifted piece or a Red Shed accessory you love? Share it with me on Instagram or TikTok using #MyRedShedStyle for a change to be featured next month!

Here’s to a stylish 2025, one find at a time!
