The Journey Jacket

I didn’t know what to get my college graduates………

Like how do you even wrap up years of memories, acomplishments, inside jokes, growth, friendships….all of it?

So I didn’t.

I made something instead, stitched something they will treasure for years to come, something they can add to as their journeys continue into the next phase.

I created custom jackets for my twins and their two closest friends – each one covered in handpicked, thrifted, meaningful patches that tell the story of their college years. Every patch = a memory, a moment, a piece of who they became.

And now I can’t stop thinking….why isn’t everyone doing this?

Because this isn’t just a gift. It’s a wearable piece of art. It is: The place they lived, the things they loved, the people who changed them, the version of themselves they’re leaving behind. All stitched into one jacket they can wear for many years.

I just posted 4 YouTube videos breaking down every single patch and the meaning behind them (and let me tell you…some of them will make you cry.) But now I need to know…..Would you wear your story?
